After viewing Phil's feedback, I have inserted more panels between the months passing to show how Jeff had not returned and Bellami gets upset, but at the end, the result of him not showing was because he had an accident. This is shown with him appearing on Christmas eve with a cast and crutches, and Bellami breathes a sigh of relief and sympathy
